"The Dolls" is now in post production.
We shot the last major scenes down south in Leicester in December. A few scenes with the leads, and the opening scene of the film.
There's still one day left of shooting, which will be done in Glasgow this month. A few scenes, shots, then that's it.
I don't have the luxury of being able to commit all my time to the post production phase, because I still have to pay the bills. This filmmaking is not my job yet. If I did have the time, the post work would be done and dusted by March.
I get to work on it a few hours a night and weekends. However, I'm on course to finish it in the spring, early summer latest.
Once the edit is complete, I'll work out a release date, possible screening, and marketing push and such.
In the meantime, it's post work, still promoting my socials daily, and working on the script for the 3rd film, which I hope to shoot this year. The novel will also be released in the summer.
Watch out for new merch coming to the shop over the next few weeks. I also post on my socials daily, or at least several times a week.
